Key Control Services won a Highly Commended Award in the Customer Services category at the inaugural Federation of Small Business Awards at The Hilton Hotel Manchester.
Phil Thompson (pictured), Managing Director of Key Control Services, said: “We were forwarded to the finals in three categories. The main one we were looking to shine in was the Customer Services award. This was only the second time we had entered any business awards.
“It is very hard for companies in our industry to compete with businesses outside the industry for such awards. Although we didn’t win the main award, it was announced that there were two exceptional contenders among the subsequent six finalists and that this was the only category with two awards, for which we were extremely proud.
“The security Industry still has a stigma attached to it, but at Key Control Services we have made major strides in eradicating such stigma in the way we run our business and the service we give to clients and also our employees, hence the award.”
