Rob Walker: Meet Our New Operations Supervisor

Say hello to our new Operations Supervisor, Rob Walker

Rob, 33, is a former professional footballer who played for Oldham Athletic Football Club for 3 years before having to retire from the game due to injury.

A left winger, he played against teams in what is now League One.

Rob re-joined Key Control Services earlier this year as a Team Leader after having previously worked for the company for 3 years. He has many years’ front-line experience in the security industry.

Operations Supervisor Role

Rob’s role of Operations Supervisor involves ensuring that the company’s services are delivered efficiently and effectively to clients. This covers both the company’s team of mobile and static security officers.

Rob, who is a devoted father, lives in Astley Bridge, Bolton, with his 10-year-old son called Ethan.

A delighted Rob said: “I’m very happy about my promotion. I have a great working relationship with Paul, our General Manager, and enjoy working here, which provides a really valuable service to our clients.”

Managing Director, Phil Thompson, started the company in 1998, after retiring as a police officer after 27 years.
